Who We Are
Newry Chamber of Commerce & Trade is the largest business-to-business organisation in the Greater Newry Area. We provide invaluable networking opportunities to our members and we are a key stakeholder in promoting and lobbying for the economic and social development of the region.
We are the 3rd largest Chamber in Northern Ireland with a full time CEO, a Board of Directors and Council consisting of locally elected business representatives, recently sworn in at our AGM on 7th November 2017. We have an extensive membership base of over 160 businesses from small SMEs and independent retailers to the largest corporations and institutions.
The Board of Directors consist of the President, Vice-President, Immediate Past President, CEO and eight representatives from businesses who are members of the Chamber.
The Council will be recognised as the business forum of the locality and as such, at its meeting and through the work of the Chambers’ committees and otherwise will collect, represent and promote the interests, views and opinions of the Members and of the wider business community.
