CEO’s world biz awards

Chief Executive Officers around the world are converging on the state of Texas for a worldwide leadership award. Newly businessman Michael Blaney will be representing Autoline Insurance later this month in the city of Dallas. The local entrepreneur has been short listed for the prestigious Vistage Member Leadership Award from more than 16,000 members. ‘I’m honoured to be nominated in the Innovation category, for the development of the first Telematics Roadsafe Reward App,” explained Michael. The organisation which encompasses 15 countries will host its annual ‘Think BIG International member and Chair Conference from January 23 to 26 to decide six individual categories. And the Autoline executive is the only CEO from Northern Ireland to make it to the American hosted finals. The innovative mobile phone App generated by the Newry organisation could now be set to take the business world by storm. The road safety technology helps to provide a pathway for drivers to better their skills making insurance quotes lower and roads safer. “The technology has the potential to revolutionise how drivers are rated for vehicle insurance purposes. In reality it has been Autoline Insurance Group’s ability to work as a dynamic and focused team led by sales director Caroline Currie to bring the organisation to a position like this and any recognition belongs entirely to this team. It is very satisfying for a Newry headquartered business to be recognised on the worldwide business stage,” added the CEO.
