Council launch new Gullion website

On a fresh May morning on the shores of Camlough Lake and at the foot of Camlough Mountain Chairperson of Newry Mourne and Down District Council Cllr Naomi Baille officially launched the new Ring of Gullion website – www.ringofgullion.org with Slieve Gullion Councillor  Roisin Mulgrew and designer Paudie Fearon from Wibble Website Design and Development. The website revamp is part of the Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership a Heritage Lottery Fund Programme to conserve and enhance some of the region’s most treasured landscapes. Newry Mourne and Down District Councils are managing the £1.4m programme. The scheme aims to engage people with the Ring of Gullion Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and surrounding landscape. Wibble Web Design and Development worked closely over a number of months with the Ring of Gullion team to design a modern aesthetically pleasing  and mobile friendly website that conveys the beauty of the region and the array of activities and projects that are currently available to people. Over the coming months more features will be added to the website including an online shop run by the Ring of Gullion

Handicrafts and Arts Collaboration (ROGHA, an events programme for the Lunasa Festival and a special page for Michael J Murphy a well know local writer, storyteller and archivist will be launched to coincide with his festival in November.
