The Buttercrane is leading the way by becoming the first shopping centre in the North to buy a trolley destined for children with special needs. The Go To Shop trolley represents the Buttercrane’s endeavours to be an all inclusive shopping complex and follows on from recent investments in a Sensory Zone, new Parent and Baby Facilities, an upgrading of the mothering room and the new ‘Space to Change’ disabled facility.
The trolley was designed by the postural support experts Firefly of Lisburn and is available in the centre, located next to the main entrance from the car park on the ground floor and is suitable for the use by children up to 35kg. Claire Smyth Community Manger said: “We are delighted that Buttercrane Shopping Centre now has a Go To Shop Trolley. Alongside a Sensory Room and a Space to Change facility Buttercrane Shopping Centre is really leading the way in meeting the needs of special needs families and creating an easier stress free and enjoyable shopping experience for the whole family. Well done Buttercrane!”
