‘We help our members grow through a variety of networking opportunities.’

Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia Northern Ireland

This year the Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia Northern Ireland will be held on the 21st June which will see thousands of participants from across the globe take part in the Legacy event from last year’s Giro d’Italia. This will be the island of Ireland’s leading mass participation cycling event which will see a mix of abilities take on some of the hardest climbs in Northern Ireland within the beauty of the Mournes area.
With an event of this size we have a wide ranging traffic management plan in place which will see road closures and gateways to allow traffic to flow within certain areas across the county. We have been working with the PSNI to deliver this traffic management plan so to lessen the impact with the local communities. We would like to invite you to our community meeting to learn more about this exciting event and how you can get involved along with the details of the traffic management which we will have in place for the 21st June.

Details of the community meetings are:

Monday 8 June, 7 pm  – Hillyard House, Castle Avenue, Castlewellan

Weds 10 June, 7 pm – St Bronagh’s GAA Hall, Mary Street, Rostrevor

Please see attached  link which shows the road closure information
