– For effective marketing strategies to promote your business and our City
– For a strong business voice representing your business needs
– For working in partnership with appropriate bodies to enhance and promote our City
– For attracting further investment from public and private sector
– For greater City attractions and events
– To improve your trading environment for your business, your staff and your customers
The Newry BID objectives, costs and projects are outlined in our business plan which can be downloaded at www.newry.com or requested from the Newry BID office. Many of our businesses have already declared their support for a Newry BID!
Ballymena Town was officially declared a BID in March 2015. Other areas across Northern Ireland have been flagged as potential BIDs offering a platform to compete with other cities and towns, leverage additional funding and strengthen their position. Newry City cannot afford to be complacent. We must see the BID as an opportunity for growth and embrace new and innovative ways to reach our full potential as a City that is open for business!
