The Whistledown Hotel is located on the seafront in Warrenpoint and is owned and managed by the McAvoy family now celebrating 29 years in business. The hotel located on the shores of Carlingford Lough is surrounded by the grandeur of the Mourne Mountains and Cooley Peninsula.

The Whistledown Hotel, originally a seafront Victorian Residence, has been restored and developed to include 21 en suite guestrooms including The C.S. Lewis Suite and The Lir Suite. The Irish-designed and styled interiors reflect a boutique-style décor throughout whilst remaining sympathetic to the original Victorian architecture.

The hotel has two award-winning restaurants, serving only quality locally sourced Irish produce. Finn’s Restaurant on the ground floor features a modern and trendy interior where food is served from 12:30pm daily. The newly refurbished Whistledown Bistro on the first floor offers a more relaxed dining experience with some tables overlooking the sea.
