They invite you to embark on a journey that transcends the ordinary. You’ll spend 1-2 hours enjoying their award-winning spirits whilst learning about the history of gin, whiskey and poitín, in particular the ways in which they make their unique drinks.
Hear about Rostrevor’s thousand-year connection with brewing and distilling, get some “Dutch courage” and find out why poitín became illegal. History was never this interesting in school!
MAKE IT A MERRY MOURNE DEW CHRISTMAS
Their spirits aren’t just drinks, they’re a portal to a world of curiosity, a taste of home and an ode to the timeless heritage of the Mourne Mountains.
Sip on the finest gin cocktails in the world. Or, if poitín is your drink of choice, try the ‘Pooka’s Wild Ride’ cocktail. A unique mixture of sweet and sharp citrus and fire and ice.
If you like liqueurs, you can sample their gin, poitín and vodka liqueurs. If you’re a whiskey fan, you can enjoy their Irish whiskeys neat or with a drop of water.
If you haven’t guessed it, Mourne Dew have got the drinks covered, however, if you want to order in food for your party, together, they can make this happen.
Alternatively, you can combine the best of local food with their award-winning spirits and make a reservation at a local restaurant following your Spirit Experience from 7:30pm/8pm onwards.
WHERE DOES IT ALL HAPPEN?
Located in the Old Shebeen to the rear of Fearon’s Pub in Rostrevor Square, their Spirit Experience is a unique blend of craic and curiosity, hosting up to 25 people at a time.
The duration of their experience is approx. 90-120 minutes but they have been known to last for three hours as the craic was that good and once the sing-song got under way!

Mourne Dew are also offering hampers for individual and corporate purchase. The hampers include their award-winning gin with mixers, plus artisan cheese and cheese biscuits, seasoning, handcrafted chocolates and fudge.
