Are you an established company seeking to grow your business and in need of funding? InterTradeIreland in partnership with Newry Chamber are hosting a FREE breakfast workshop on Tuesday 27th June from 8:30am – 11:30am in the Canal Court Hotel & Spa, Newry.
This short morning session will be delivered by Grant Thornton on behalf of InterTradeIreland. You will have the opportunity to find out about the main sources of funding for growth suitable for your business and will include information on both traditional bank funding and the newer types of funding that are now available in the market.
The workshop is aimed at established small and medium sized businesses and will showcase current, new and alternative sources of finance to further fund business growth. As well as a focus on traditional bank finance options, the workshop will cover alternative funding options that are also available to businesses with ambitious growth plans.
It will provide an overview of the current funding landscape. You will receive an overview of active funders, an explanation of how providers make their funding decisions and discussions around the types of businesses active funders are particularly interested in supporting.
You will also receive top tips and advice on how to make your business ready for funding and investment. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in interactive discussions and network with funders.
Alison Currie, Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at InterTradeIreland commented:
“InterTradeIreland is delighted to partner with the Newry Chamber to make this important workshop available to businesses in the Greater Newry Area. Recent research carried out by the British Business Bank shows a high demand for growth finance among Northern Ireland businesses yet a lack of awareness of the options available, this InterTradeIreland Funding for Growth workshop will support local businesses with funding information, guidance to help understand the funding environment and aims to improve investor readiness and access to finance.”
Tony McKeown, CEO of Newry Chamber added:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for not only our own members but for businesses right across the Greater Newry Area to get up-to-date on finance options open to them and allow them to make informed decisions about their future.”
