Newry Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the details of the Newry Business Christmas Charity Dinner taking place on Thursday 3rd December 2015 at 5.30pm in the Canal Court Hotel.
The Chamber is encouraging all local businesses across the district to support this charity event by taking tables and tickets to attend the social and networking event of the year. With over 700 guests expected to attend, this event is the perfect way to kick start the Christmas festivities and one not to be missed!
Last year, the event reached a significant milestone when it topped the £1 million mark in cash and toys distributed to the local community over its 15 year history.
This year’s Christmas Charity Dinner promises to be another great occasion where the business community comes together to celebrate Christmas with friends and colleagues and to show their support for local charities. This charities benefiting from the Dinner this year include:Newry Gate Way, Head Injury Support and the Southern Area Hospice.
The famous “Toy Mountain” will again be a key feature of the event with all attendees asked to bring an unwrapped new toy; these toys are distributed to local families through the networks of St Vincent de Paul and Salvation Army.
The cost of the Charity Dinner remains fixed for the seventh successive year at £50 plus VAT (£60) per person; this includes four course meal, table wine, a wealth of entertainment. Complete tables of 10 may be booked as well as individual places. Limited places are available; book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
