Representatives from Newry Chamber of Commerce and Newry & Mourne District Council met with Naomi Waite, Director of Marketing, NITB recently to discuss promoting tourism in the greater Newry Area.
Ms Waite advised that NITB were keen to hear from local businesses in the tourism and service sector industry about initiatives, events, activities, promotional packages, quirky stories or other newsworthy items of interest that were being undertaken in the greater Newry region. This material will be used by NITB in marketing campaigns to help promote this region.
Newry Chamber of Commerce would like to encourage local businesses to forward any such information they have on promotions, activities, good news stories, etc to NITB PR Department for dissemination through its marketing channels.
