Newry and Mourne District Council is holding Procurement Awareness Sessions which are free and open to existing and prospective providers/tenderers who may be interested in applying for future Newry and Mourne District Council tender/contract awards.
These sessions will:
- Provide an overview of relevant legislation and policy under which Newry and Mourne District Council procurement will be conducted.
- Outline how procurement will operate, including how tenders will be advertised and the documentation that will be used.
- Set out the nature of information sought from tenderers including that relating to costing and activity.
- Provide an outline of timescales for tender exercises.
- Allow providers/tenderers to register on the Council’s procurement portal.
