Congratulations to our member, Mourne Private Clinic which has opened its doors, following a significant investment by Clinic Director and Radiographer Lisa Hughes in the new healthcare facility located on Bridge Street, Newry.
The new private health hub, houses a number of medical diagnostic services including Private Ultrasound, Genetic Screening, Hereditary Cancer Gene Testing, Dexa Scanning and X-ray (through Mourne Scan Clinic), alongside Private Blood Tests, Physiotherapy, Pelvic Health Services and CBT Counselling from carefully selected partners.
The Clinic brings a ‘regional first’ to Newry, with the DEXA Scanning & X-ray Service. Dexa is a bone density scanner which can identify and assess your risk of osteoporosis, so early steps can be taken to prevent fractures – particularly relevant to smokers, 50+ and postmenopausal women.
Many of the scanning and testing services have express ‘same day’ results with X-ray reports provided within an hour.
