School for Social Enterprises opportunity

The School for Social Enterprises in Ireland (SSEI) is a leading provider of  management and enterprise development for the Social Economy sector. SSEI is a University of Ulster / Flax Trust initiative which combines focussed on the ground expertise with accredited academic excellence.

The School has been offered fifteen bursaries from the Flax Trust for its newly validated social enterprise business planning programme leading to the award of the Advanced Diploma in Social Enterprise.  This is a one year social enterprise development programme aimed at those who have an idea to start a social enterprise or those in existing community organisations and charities who are trying to diversify their income streams through business development.
 
This part-time programme is fully accredited, managed and delivered by theUlsterBusinessSchool at theUniversity ofUlster’s Jordanstown campus and will start in April 2012.
