Congratulations to our member, BJF Transport Compliance, Workplace & Training Services who have recently launched a new venture, SmarTacho, a comprehensive fleet compliance management system.
SmarTacho is a cloud-based SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solution that streamlines remote download and management of tachograph data, ensuring effortless compliance and operational efficiency.
Following decades of hands-on experience in the haulage sector, SmarTacho is the brainchild of Barry Fearon, Founder & Director of BJF Transport Compliance, Workplace & Training Services which started operating from its Newry base in 2015, offering expert compliance consulting and workplace training.
Barry said, “With over 30 years of experience running transport operations, I have witnessed first-hand how much the industry has evolved for the better. However, with progress comes increased regulations, especially around drivers’ hours, maintenance schedules, the Working Time Directive (WTD) and tachograph compliance, to name a few.”
“The last thing any operator wants is to be facing authorities with the threat of fleet curtailment or worse, licence revocation. With this in mind, I have designed and developed SmarTacho, a platform designed to simplify the complex compliance requirements for all licence holders, whether you’re an own account operator or working under hire and reward.”
SmarTacho is versatile in that the system can be tailored to meet the needs of any fleet, no matter the size or type of vehicle or asset such as vans, buses, forklifts, boats etc. and they can provide temperature monitoring where required.
It offers a range of professional trackers and plug and play trackers as well as a host of services including remote tachograph downloading, vehicle and driver reports, telematics and tracking and compliance advice.
From one vehicle to a hundred, they offer a streamlined solution for managing driver and vehicle compliance, ensuring clients meet all EU and UK regulations.
