About The Greater Newry Business Awards

The SHORTLIST for the 2026 Greater Newry Business Awards, supported by Principal Sponsors, NIE Networks and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council has been announced!

This year marks the 11th edition of these prestigious awards which recognise, celebrate and reward the success of our local businesses, organisations and individuals who are at the top of their game.

A huge thank you to our fantastic independent judging panel that consisted of Gary McDonald, Steven Egan, Alistair Quinn, Roisin McAliskey and Sue Burns who had the very difficult task of assessing the entries over the summer and agreeing on this year’s shortlist.

We would like to commend each person, organisation and business who entered the awards and good luck to all the shortlisted finalists ahead of the Gala Awards Night, hosted by Deborah Loughran and Mark Simpson.
