Duality Healthcare Gears up for Growth with CEO & Senior Leadership Team Appointments

Great news from our member, Duality Healthcare who has announced a series of key leadership appointments from some of the UK and Ireland’s top companies as it gears up for a new phase of strategic growth.

John McEvoy has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Marks, formerly Group Chief Operating Officer at Kingsbridge Healthcare Group joins as Chief Operating Officer and Fergus McIlduff becomes Chief Financial Officer, having moved from leading private equity backed businesses across the UK and Ireland.

Neil Cooke, who has held a series of senior roles in leading financial services organisations, becomes Head of Business Development, Holly McGeeney-Murray joins from PropertyPal as Head of Marketing and Helen Hughes has been appointed Head of HR having joined from Kingsbridge Healthcare Group.

John becomes CEO having played a pivotal role in guiding Duality Healthcare’s strategic vision and growth to date as Chairman and Co-Founder. In his new role as CEO, John will lead the company’s next phase of innovation and expansion with the goal of setting new standards of patient-focused, affordable and accessible healthcare across Northern Ireland.

As part of the strategic move, John’s Business Partner and Duality Healthcare Co-Founder, Dr. Declan Morgan, has transitioned into the role of Chief Medical Officer, ensuring strong clinical leadership and oversight across the organisation as it scales its patient-centred, innovative primary care services.

These appointments mark a significant step in the company’s ambitious plans to transform primary care and expand its presence across Northern Ireland.

Mr. McEvoy is an experienced healthcare and life sciences executive, corporate strategist and lawyer with a career spanning over two decades in international legal practice, corporate leadership and healthcare innovation.

A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, John began his career in private practice at international law firms Herbert Smith Freehills and Arthur Cox.

He then held several executive leadership roles as General Counsel in the Life Sciences sector where he was centrally involved in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and listings on international markets such as the Nasdaq. He has been recognised in the prestigious Legal 500 GC Powerlist in 2022, 2023 and 2025.

Earlier this year, Duality Healthcare announced the successful completion of a £4.5 million investment round. The funding will accelerate the launch of new clinics, further expansion of healthcare services and the creation of up to 80 new jobs across NI.

With clinics currently open in Newry, Ballymena and Omagh, and further clinics already earmarked to open in 2025 and 2026, Duality continues to lead the way in private primary care innovation across Northern Ireland.
