Zohar (B.1945,USSR) grew up and began his career in Israel, the son of Holocaust refugees. He left Israel and relocated to London in 1987 where he enjoys an international reputation following a succession of high profile commissions in conjunction with solo and mixed exhibitions, including portraits of HRH Diana Princess of Wales, the Lord Mayor of Belfast, The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and the Right Honourable Henry Cato US Ambassador to the Court of St James.

Zohar is an expert on the works of Vermeer and has presented several exhibitions around the world covering that theme and in particular Museum Panorama Mesdog, Mauritshuis in the Hague, Musee de L’Athenee Geneva, Salon des Beaux-Arts and Grand Palais Paris. Under the banner of Roy Mills Galleries his works have been promoted and sold in auction rooms in Sotheby’s.
