Southern Regional College’s Business Support and Innovation Centre in conjunction with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is delighted to be hosting a business breakfast to showcase the support available to help your business to innovate, compete and grow.
You will hear from a range of local support agencies who have access to expertise and funded support to help businesses on their innovation journey. This applies to companies of all sizes and across multiple sectors.
The Guest Speaker for this event will be Lorraine Acheson – Innovate UK’s Manager for Northern Ireland. Her role is to promote Innovate UK across Northern Ireland, engaging with strategic stakeholders and providing a link between Innovate UK and Northern Ireland. Innovate UK is the UK’s Innovation Agency. It is the primary mechanism by which the UK Government funds and supports businesses, developing science and technology innovations that will grow the UK economy. It does this primarily through competitive grants across its four key sectors: health and life sciences (including agri-food), manufacturing and materials, infrastructure systems and emerging and enabling technologies including cyber, space and digital, as well as other areas.
