EVENT OVERVIEW:
Following the huge success of last year’s inaugural International Men’s Day Event, Newry Chamber with Duality Healthcare, O’Hare & McGovern and DMC Events is marking International Men’s Day 2025 with ‘A Celebration of Men in Greater Newry – Supporting Men and Boys’ hosted by Presenter, Commentator & Award-Winning Broadcaster, Thomas Niblock.
FIRESIDE CHATS:
The first Fireside Chat will be with STATSports Co-Founder, Sean O’Connor, who will discuss the remarkable journey of STATSports from humble beginnings to acquisition by global electronics giant, SONY.
Next up in the armchair will be the General Surgeon and 2002 All-Ireland Winner, Kevin McElvanna, on the pain of loss, raising a family, developing a successful career and helping to turn tragedy to joy for his local club Madden who lifted their first Senior County Championship in their 92-year history.

All proceeds from the event will go towards The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and the Chamber’s Charity Partner for 2025, Women’s Aid Armagh Down.
A FREE bus will leave the Stone Bridge in Newry at 1:30pm, returning at 6pm.
