Be part of the action on Wednesday 4th December in the Carrickdale Hotel Dundalk Co.Louth and join Energy Businesses, public sector representatives and other energy stakeholders for an evening of networking. Guest speakers for the evening will be Pat Gilroy from Dalkia joined by Gary McDonald Business Editor for Irish news. The Smart ECO Hub is a cluster of Sustainable Energy related companies operating along the M1 Economic Corridor. The aim of the cluster is to stimulate product development and commercialisation. This project is part financed by the European Union’s INTERREG IVA Cross Border Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. The project is managed by Louth Local Authorities.
As well as leading Dublin to the All Ireland title in 2011 for the first time in 16 years, Pat has recently been appointed CEO of Dalkia UK & Ireland having been Managing Director since 2005. Pat is an Engineering graduate of University of Dublin, Trinity College. He previously held roles in the ESB, Amdahl Ireland Ltd and EEL FM Ltd, before heading up FP2, which was sold to Dalkia in 2001.
Pat is an active contributor to the community on a number of levels and has a keen interest in ideas that work to enhance performance culture in both the workplace and in the sporting arena. A former President of the Ireland France Chamber of Commerce Pat’s significant experience in the energy sector and in the world-leading company in environmental services brings key insight to his role as Secretary of the Energy Institute in Ireland and as a Board Member of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). Pat is also a member of the IBEC National Council and is currently contributing to a Consultative Committee on Jobs in the Green Economy.
