Deli Lites scores World Host status

A Newry Eatery has gained national recognition for its commitment to customer service training programme due to more than 60% of its staff being trained to World Host standards. “We are passionate about service standards and are incredibly proud to have achieved World Host Recognised Business status,” Siobhan Reel director of Deli Lites Newry said. “When customers see the World Host logo displayed in our business they’ll know we made a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for them. Not only does this generate a positive buzz about the services we offer but it helps to promote Newry as a friendly and welcoming tourist destination.” World Host was developed by British Columbia tourism authorities and has a 20 year history. It was used for training nearly 40,000 staff for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. It is designed to become the national standard for customer service training industry. The next World Host Customer Service Programme takes place in Newry  on April 8 and 15. For more information call 07773 423675.
