Grants

Rural communities have two weeks to apply for grants of up to £50k for start up community business ventures. The money comes from the Big Lottery’s Village SOS scheme which aims to support rural communities that may be struggling with issues such as isolation, aging populations and the closure of local amenities. Rural communities with populations of less than 3,000 can apply for grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 before September 12. For more information log onto www.villagesos.org.uk
