Newry-based Foreign Exchange and Payments company, Bureau Buttercrane, has undergone a significant transformation in recent weeks, embarking on an exciting rebrand to dual entities, CurrencyLab and TransferLab.
The tailored new model will offer streamlined individual services to clients depending on their needs.
CurrencyLab will continue to offer traditional exchange services available at the company’s busy border base in Buttercrane Shopping Centre, with TransferLab providing a competitive online money transfer platform which allows customers to send and receive international payments to more than 20 countries across the UK and Europe.
Announcing the launch of the dual service overhaul, company CEO, John Gildea, explained the positive impact that the new approach will have for both returning and first-time customers.
The family-run business has experienced a steady pace of growth with the recent business innovations and upgrades in technology. Further exemplifying their fresh new approach has been the appointment of a number of key members of staff, who are set to carry the company into the future, they include Colum Gildea, Fiona Gildea and Daniel Jelly.
Colum is the Company Sales Director and has previous experience in FX and investment management. Fiona is the company’s Compliance Director and is a qualified lawyer with several years’ experience in the financial service industry and Daniel Jelly is Operations Director with previous experience in FX Sales at a major investment bank.
Now boasting twelve full-time operatives, the team of financial and technology experts look set to lead the company to future success whilst endeavouring to stay true to its original mission.
The company has experienced significant growth and success over the last quarter-century by staying true to that mission, luring many customers away from traditional banking providers in the process.
