Company Information
Head Injury Support was formed in 2015 after a number of individuals who shared similar experiences came together to form a support group for survivors of brain injury, their family members and their carers.
At Head Injury Support, they hold dear their values upon which their ethos is based.
- Respecting the individual
- Believing in a Better Future
- Harnessing every opportunity to learn
- Celebrating Success
Their common aim is to enhance the quality of life of brain injury survivors, their family members and carers.
Head Injury Support embrace every individual, his/her attributes, qualities and skills. They recognise that no two people are the same and that everyone’s journey is specific to them. The brain injury survivor is at the centre of all they do.
They promote learning opportunities to enable their members to achieve their maximum potential and develop the skills they need to live a meaningful, engaging life within their own families and communities.
At Head Injury Support Newry, they understand the loss that has occurred and the grieving process that follows. However, they believe that there are valuable learning opportunities available every day to promote and develop new skills and this is what gives they hope for the future. In doing so, they celebrate every achievement no matter how great or small.
