We were delighted to attend the official opening of our member, Mourne Private Clinic following a significant £400,000 investment which has created 10 new roles.
Speaking to guests at the event, Clinic Director, Lisa Hughes said that Mourne Private Clinic had long been a professional aspiration for her.
A radiographer with the NHS, Lisa went into private practice in 2016, with the creation of Mourne Scan Clinic, which today offers a range of Ultrasound Services, Genetic Testing and Cancer Gene Screening.
The Clinic centralised its services in Newry in 2016 and the Scan Clinic’s continued growth highlighted for Lisa the demand for private high quality, independent health services.
The launch of Mourne Private Clinic on Bridge Street in Newry is the realisation of that ambition following significant investment circa £400k. The new private clinic generated ten new roles, with over 20 people expected to be employed by the end of the year.
