I would also like to congratulate Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade in organizing these awards and I would encourage businesses to participate and make their applications before the closing date of 12 noon on August 7.” The Business Awards competition recognizes the efforts made by businesses to promote the Newry area as a place synonymous with product quality, service and customer care. “If your business is a local independent or multi-national, whether it employs 2 or 200, with many award categories requiring nominations, there is ample opportunity to have your business recognized in this prestigious awards competition,” the South Down MP added. “This is a key time for the Newry area – top show its confidence in the best of its businesses and in the future of this great trading community.”
