Newry BIDs Project Manager – Job Advertisement

Newry City Centre Management has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Project Manager.  As part of the Northern Ireland BIDS Academy Programme and under the direction of the Newry BID Task Forum, the BIDS Project Manager’s role will be to deliver and help lead a process to achieve a successful outcome to the BID (Business Improvement District) campaign. 
Business Improvement District Schemes are a major new initiative with the prime aim to give the Newry business community greater influence in their City that they consider will improve their business environments. 
The successful candidate will effectively consult, develop and communicate with businesses within the BID boundary to seek and secure a positive response in a ballot of eligible businesses.  
Reports to: Newry City Centre Management Board / Newry BID Task Forum
Qualifications: Degree Standard (Or Equivalent), Preferably Business or Law
Contract: Full Time Position – 1 Year Contract (Possible extension subject to success of BID Ballot)
Salary: Competitive Remuneration Package
