Crowds of people lined the malls of Buttercrane last weekend ne for the launch of the new safari themed welcome area. Special guest for the party was animated Dinasour T-Rex who growled to the applause to the delight of children and adults alike.
The new welcome zone features a series of specially designed Safari themed seating, hand sculpted trees with unique animals nesting in the treetops above. The window decals are also themed and include giraffes, monkeys, panda and gorillas in keeping with the Safari theme.
Buttercrane Shopping Centre is the first centre in NI to have a fit out of this kind. The fit out was designed and hand-made by DS Signs and has created a great excitement around the centre at its weekend launch.
Centre manager Peter Murray commented: “We are delighted with the end product of the new Safari welcome zone – it looks fantastic and we have had great feedback from our customers. This new initiative creates an innovative ‘welcome’ zone for customers and young families and make the centre a must see for anyone visiting Newry.”
