EVENT OVERVIEW:
The FREE District-wide NMD Recruitment & Skills Conference aimed at tackling Newry, Mourne and Down’s Workforce Challenges will take place in Newcastle, Co. Down on Wednesday 8th October 2025.
The October 8th Conference takes place in the Burrendale Hotel, Newcastle from 8:45am – 3:45am and it is the second of two major conferences over a 12-month period with the first District-wide Conference taking place in the Canal Court Hotel in Newry last October.
Addressing recruitment and skills shortages is one of the biggest challenges facing our members and the wider business community across the entirety of the District and it is one the Chamber’s three core strategic pillars.
The full line-up of expert speakers for this FREE District-wide full day conference will be announced in the coming months and it will be hosted by our MC, Broadcaster & Journalist, Mark Simpson.
We encourage all members, businesses and organisations to register to attend and participate in the discussion on shaping and developing a locally focused recruitment and skills strategy for the whole District for the next decade and beyond.
